How did I get here?
Actor.
I’ve performed professionally since childhood. Acting taught me about empathic thinking and motivations, but improv? That’s the real asset, honing my skills in active listening and storytelling, not to mention the ability to shift on a dime.
Researcher.
In 2015, I took a position doing research at a consulting firm. My work had to be logically sound, supported by the data, and error-free. It taught me to consider a problem from multiple angles, requiring great attention to detail and air-tight rational thinking.
UX Designer.
And here I sit now, with a career that brings those divergent skillsets together. In UX, I’ve found work that is both creatively engaging and intellectually satisfying. What a wonderful place to land, right?
I use emotions practically and logic creatively to solve UX problems.
